Maple & Cacao Lip Scrub

This scrub is specific to your lips! Pairs well with our Maple & Cacao Lip Butter.

Lips lack the protective outer layer and oil glands the rest of our skin has, which makes them more susceptible to the elements; Cold, wind and dry air all wreak havoc on lips' thin skin. 

Cocoa butter, a rich fat derived from the same beans as chocolate, helps alleviate this problem. The emollient properties of cocoa butter act as a protective barrier by supplying and retaining moisture in the lips and skin.

Another great ingredient? Maple Syrup - It can be used to reduce inflammation of the skin, relieve redness and eliminate dryness. Packed with antioxidants to help retain moisture in your skin, with antibacterial properties and anti-aging.

Cacao powder is also added for its benefits. When applied to skin, it has been know to protect against environmental stressors, feeds the skin and produces a radiant, healthy glow. 

Lets not forget the exfoliation effect! Demerara Sugar - Removes dead skin cells on the surface, moisturizes skin, nourishes skin and makes it look young and healthy.

Directions: Apply a small amount to lips and gently massage in circular motions. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.
